He was predeceased by : his parent Martin Handelman; and his sibling Beth Handelman. He is survived by : his spouse Robin; his children, Marty Handelman and William Handelman; his parent Barbara Handelman; and his sibling Cindy Campbell.
I met Chet at a Bowie high breakfast for some event in 1980 before graduation. We were part of the wait staff and clean up crew. Both our fathers worked at the Government Printing Office in DC and we talked about that and low and behold we found out that we both were enrolled at TESST Electronics School in Hyattsville, MD. We started car pooling and became instant friends. Although Im not going to mention some of our exploits and adventures, we both ended up working for Eastman Kodak Company. He was hired before me. Chet told me all of the answers on my interview test...Kodak thought I was the cats meow. He was in copy products and I was in microfilm. Lost touch with Chet over the years as well as most of my old pals. Saw him once at a chicken place in Beltsville maybe 10 years ago and it was like old times. You will be missed Chet. Rest in peace my friend.
