          ** 40 Year Reunion Update **

Bowie ’80 Classmates,

We wanted to let everyone know that we have picked a tentative date for our 40 year class reunion later this fall!  The weekend we have chosen is October 8th / 9th, 2021 and includes a Friday event at Molloy's in Gambrills and a Saturday event at the Knights of Columbus in Bowie.  The reason the dates are tentative is because we are still unclear how the pandemic situation will unfold in the spring and summer and what the projected guidelines and restrictions will be in October.  We are cautiously optimistic that we can have a fun event without too many restrictions, but until we see what the next couple of months brings, we can't fully commit to moving forward.

The reunion committee will meet again in the coming months and discuss our options and try to come to a quick conclusion as to whether we stay with the October plans or postpone again to next year. For those of you traveling from out of town, perhaps this is an opportunity to make travel arrangements that can be changed if necessary.  We apologize for the inconvenience and we will post another announcement just as soon as we can.

 Take care and be safe!

The Reunion Committee
