Laura Murray Ornstein

Since 1980,I went to college left college in 1985, worked a lot of different jobs ended up in the restaurant business, got married in 1989. Left restaurant business went into film business. Had a baby in 1996, moved to California in 1999. I work as an art teacher teaching k-5 art lessons in a public school near my house and I volunteer at the library as the storytime lady. I went back to school in 2008 finished my B.A degree in Human Development with a specialization in Art Education. By the reunion I will have added my single credentialed in art to my multiple subject credential. I am very happy in California with my wonderful husband, daughter in her first year of college, and our cute dog Snowy.

For me the memories I have are of the great friends I had. It seems to me that our class had too many parties. I'm surprised that no one has made a movie of it or did they? I enjoyed my art classes and remember home ed. I wonder if they still teach that at Bowie? I know they don't here. I am glad that I survived my high school years and cherish the many memories with my friends.
